Prof Min Zhao
graduated from the 3rd
Military Medical University
in Chongqing 1985. After
completion of PhD training
under supervision of Prof.
Zhengguo Wang in 1991, he
worked at the Research
Institute of Surgery on
trauma research until 1994.
He worked with Geff
Burnstock in 1994 at
University College London.
He then moved to University
of Aberdeen as a Research
Fellow to work with
Professors McCaig and John
Forrester. He won a Wellcome
Trust University Award
Lectureship in 1999. He was
promoted to a Wellcome Trust
University Award Senior
Lectureship in 2002, to a
Professor/Personal Chair in
Biomedical Science,
Regenerative Medicine in
2004. In 2007, he moved to
University of California,
Davis and took up a
professorship in
Dermatology. His research is
on guide cells and tissue to
heal wounds and regenerate,
using electric fields.
