Prof Wen Wang

Professor of bioengineering, Queen Mary, University of London, UK                   

Dr Wen Wang is currently Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Queen Mary University of London, rising rapidly from senior lecturer and reader. Before joining the Queen Mary’s, he was a Wellcome Trust Fellow at Imperial College School of Medicine. He obtained his PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College London and performed his post-doctoral research at the University of Manchester and St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London.

Dr Wang’s current esearch interest includes vascular endothelial mechanics, microcirculatory haemodynamics, cell mechanics and tissue engineering, fluid and solute transport in soft tissues.
