CLSS-UK Call
for Donations for the Devastated Victims of the
Sichuan Earthquake
Dear all,
The CLSS-UK Committee is
sincerely horrified and saddened to hear of the
strong earthquake in Sichuan, China. We do hope
that your families and friends did not have any
loss during the earthquake. This earthquake
occurred on 12th May 2008 and the death toll
continues to rise with the latest reports to put
it at more than 12,000 people, making it the
worst earthquake striking our country in the
last 30 years. We urgently call for donations
for the devastated victims of the Sichuan
earthquake. CLSS-UK calls on all members of the
Society to stand firmly with our country and
people and offer as generous as possible
donations to support our motherland getting
through the catastrophe.
